What you can hand over in May, and the three jobs that belong elsewhere

These rows are the May decision. Some are prepared here from the federal return. Three leave this desk.

May rows, handed on or carried
Annual report and the tax computationCarried here, from the federal return
Information report when no tax is dueCarried here

A statement a lender wants signed by an auditorHanded on
An IRS collection noticeHanded on
The legal side of a reinstatementmarkedHanded to a Texas attorney
The mark is the reinstatement row, because that is the job a stopped transaction most wants folded in. It is handed to an attorney.

The one May job that goes somewhere else

Reading the index, naming your filing, computing the margin off the federal return and preparing that return are all work anybody may do, and they are the work here. Signing a report on your financial statements, an audit or a review or a compilation, is not, because Texas keeps that for licensed firms and there is no CPA license behind this guide.

It comes up when a bank wants a signed set rather than a filed report, and when it does you will be told straight away and pointed at a firm that can sign one. The full list of what this desk leaves alone is on the disclosures page.

If your row is in the first group

Have the entity name and the report year ready. A row in the second group already names the kind of help, and the conversation can say that before May is spent in the wrong chair.

If your row is carried here, set twenty minutes

The carried work is the report, the information filing, and the federal return they copy. The handed-on work is already labeled, so the opening conversation can start from that label.

You will be talking to the Steven Palmieri practice.
